OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN/DIRECTOR DRAPER MEDIA
Ensuring the studio production areas are properly set up for each newscast and that all broadcast elements are within accepted standards; accurately code newscasts (using Sony ELS or Ignite IPS); creating new elements and effects as needed. Managing air stations in master control room (via Airboss) to cue content as scheduled; trim shows, commercials, and rolling feeds (via Florical Systems) to meet scheduling objectives; monitor and record incoming/outgoing digital delivery TVU, microwave, & satellite feeds (via Pathfire & Compusat) for system programming. Communicating with the newsroom, production staff, and on-air talent before, during, and after each newscast. Maintaining equipment in proper working order; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; routinely managing play-out servers and transmitters/backup transmitters.

We’re closing out #HispanicHeritageMonth with a tribute to our Fulfillment Center (FC) team members, who are at the heart of our ability to serve our customers. Qurate Retail Group leaders including Qurate Retail Group President and CEO, David Rawlinson II; QVC US President, Michael Fitzharris; and HSN President, Rob Muller celebrated these team members by visiting our fulfillment center in Bethlehem, PA, taking part in its Grand Re-opening and Hispanic Heritage Month events hosted by ALMA (Advancement of Latinx Mission and Advocacy), one of QRG’s Team Member Resource Groups (TMRG).
